WITH/ANOTHER spent the first weekend of March traveling to Boston to host a weekend full of events with Niche Urban Garden Supply. Our Friday morning was spent prepping for our first discussion panel series, Shared Stories. With help from Niche and the kindness of FoMu and Downeast Cider, we had a stunning space and delicious food for a night full of questions, discussions, and connection. Lucky for us, Boston and the surrounding area, is full of incredible women doing incredible things. We teamed up with Erica Feldmann, Tori Kendrew, Monique Aimee, Betty Liu, and Lindsey Swett for a kickass panel about small businesses, female creativity, inspiration, struggle, and everything in between. With a packed room of friends, family, creatives, and aspiring business owners, the air of community throughout the space was both powerful and inspired.
After a few hours of sleep and a whole lot of ice cream, we headed back to Niche on Saturday morning for our Shared Morning Workshop. Eight lovely women joined us for a lesson in styling, photography, and social media for personal branding and small business media creation, with pastries from Juliet and coffee from Longfellows. After covering tips and tricks from our ventures in social media and creative branding, the ladies then participated in a hands on styling exercise using MYRTH Ceramics and kitchen + kraft linens. While we enjoyed teaching, we LOVED seeing the vignettes and images our attendees created. Collaboration was at its finest this morning.
We are sending the largest thank you to everyone who made this weekend such a success. See you again soon, Boston.
